The "Heart Behind The Art" Backstory

My journey with beauty started long before it became my profession. In 2011, at just 16 years old, I found myself as the youngest student in my cosmetology class at VLCC. Even then, I knew I had a passion for the fine details of nail art and aesthetics.

However, life led me down a different path of service first. For years, I dedicated myself to others as a Psychologist and Special Educator. While my career was in the classroom and the clinic, my heart never left the studio. I spent over a decade quietly refining my craft—training at Lakme Academy, Kaya, and learning from industry titans through every workshop I could find. I never stopped being a student of beauty.

In 2025, I decided it was finally time to bring those two worlds together.
OH! SO POLISH is the result of that 14-year evolution. It’s a space where my background in psychology meets my obsession with precision.
I don’t just care about the perfect polish; I care about how you feel when you’re in my chair. I’ve traded the therapy room for the studio, but my mission remains the same: to make sure every person I work with feels seen, cared for, and truly 'Oh-So' Polished.

The idea for OH! SO POLISH started because I was a client first. I spent years looking for a studio that didn’t just offer a service, but truly cared about the health of my nails and the artistry of the design. When I couldn't find that perfect balance of high-end hygiene, trend-forward creativity, and a calming atmosphere, I decided to build it myself. Today, my studio is a reflection of everything I once searched for: a sanctuary where your safety is a priority and your style is our canvas.​
At the end of the day, my work is about more than just aesthetics—it’s about how you feel when you look at your hands or catch your reflection. My years in psychology taught me that self-care is a vital form of self-respect. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, my promise is to provide a space where you are heard, pampered, and left feeling 'Oh-So' confident."
